Mountain biking and e-bikes are certainly the best ways to discover these mountains which offer many dirt routes, including mule tracks, paths and military roads (see the high altitude military roads section in this site).
In the upper valley, in Bardonecchia and Sauxe d'Oulx, you will also find downhill bike parks, as well as several specialized shops for MTB and E-bike rental.
